This antique Gorham silver plated ladle is in the Richmond pattern, introduced in 1897. It's about 6-3/4 inches long and has a substantial weight for its size. The design and plating are nice quality as well - for a 130 year old flatware piece it has surprisingly little use or storage wear and no plate loss. not even at the heel. The handle tip has a letter S monogram.
