This pretty ceramic wall pocket planter is in the shape of a flowering bush or tree branch with a colorful applied song bird in the open center. Unmarked, it looks like a Japan planter. The thick, heavy clay body suggests late 1930s production. It measures 5 inches high by about the same in width. In excellent condition with no damage.
