This large pan and strainer or steamer basket combination is from the late 1800s, produced by L & G Manufacturing Company (Lalance & Grosjean) under their Agate Nickel Steel Ware brand. The 8 quart pan is just over 13 inches diameter by 5-1/2" high and has a 15 inch high hoop handle with a hook to hold the strainer basket. The strainer measures 10-1/2 by 4-1/2 inches.

The lower pan has some chipping as shown and normal manufacturing flaws but no dents or dings. The strainer is in better shape with a shiny, smooth finish and only a few minor chips or wear spots. Both pieces are marked as shown with an additional seconds mark. If you're interested in just the basket, I have one listed elsewhere in the shop.
