This attractive Mid Century round dome cake saver is shiny chrome with a turned wood finial - oak I think. It's quite heavy and sturdy, measuring 10" diameter at the interior by 3-3/4 inches deep. It comes with the original 11-1/2" glass tri-footed base plate with an attractive bubbles and sunflower pattern - smooth on top, embossed on the bottom, and a perfect ring fit to the cover. The plate is spotless, crystal clear with no scratches, chips, or damage. The chrome cover has a little spotty age darkening inside but the exterior is clean and shiny with only a few tiny, shallow marks to the finish from cleaning and storage, no dents or dings. The plate will be double boxed for safely in shipping.
