This brightly colored striped dhurrie or durry vintage rug is 100% cotton, made in India in the 1970s. It measures exactly 43 by 76 inches including the 4" knotted fringe, or about 3-1/2 by 6-1/4 feet. The rug is fairly clean with no stains, but the buyer will probably want to have it dry cleaned. There are no tears or snags, just the usual minor slubs and tiny flaws typical of the flat weave hand looming process.
The bright afternoon outdoor sunlight in the second picture makes the colors look somewhat washed out. The last picture shows the rug folded over in an attempt to show that the coloring is brighter and cleaner on the bottom where the label is. If I were going to keep it, I'd just take the label off and flip it to the brighter side - since there are no seams or hems both sides are identical.
