This 1950s Revere Ware copper bottom stainless steel 8 quart covered stock pot was made in their Riverside California plant and has the original Process Patent mark on the bottom. It has a metal side handle and a swing bail handle with Bakelite grip.
The pot measures 9-1/2" diameter by 7-1/2 inches deep and sits perfectly flat with no rocking. It's seen a lot of use over the last 70 odd years. The original bolts that held the handle in place have been replaced with screws and nuts (it still works and locks in place). The handle is also just a bit out of round. The interior of the pot is somewhat darkened. This can be caused by either long-term overheating or boiling hard water that is high in magnesium or calcium. Don't worry, the discoloration is pefectly safe and won't affect the performance or taste of the food you cook. There's also some pitting in the bottomand a Still, it's a very sturdy, heavy pot that's still functional and should last another 70 years.
