This vintage Revere Ware copper clad stainless steel covered pot was called a covered sauce pot in their 1950s literature, though it's often referred to as a stockpot or Dutch oven. It holds six quarts and measures 10-1/4 inches diameter by about 5 inches deep. The pot has a very substantial weight and is spotlessly clean and freshly polished. There are some typical fine, light marks from stirring and cleaning in the bottom, and the Phenolic side handles have a bit of heat wear. The pot was made in the Rome New York plant between 1974 and 1977.
