This elegant 2 cup creamy porcelain china gravy server was made by Syracuse in the Old Ivory Nimbus Platinum pattern, introduced in 1949. The pattern was made into the 1960s, but the specific OPCO mark on the back was discontinued in the 1950s. Syracuse primarily made institutional ware, and Old Ivory was extensively used in fine hotels and restaurants.
The 3-1/2" high gravy has double pour spouts and an 8 inch attached underplate. The simple decoration consists of concentric platinum rings or bands. It's in excellent condition with no damage or platinum wear, just a few super short, shallow utensil marks in the bottom to the glaze only.
