This sweet faced 9-1/2 inch composition baby doll isn't marked but dates to the early to mid 1940s, possibly late 1930s. She's very clean with molded light brown hair, a tiny red cupid's bow mouth, and blue sleep eyes with fully intact upper lashes, painted lower lashes. She wears a creamy white embroidered lace over satin christening style long dress, a crinoline lace bonnet with ties that match the dress, cotton bloomers style panties, silk knit socks, and hand crocheted booties.
There's very little if any crazing to the arms and body, only slight vertical craze lines to the fronts of the legs. Her face has light crazing as shown. The only sign of damage is a chip to the paint under her right arm, exposing the underlying wood pulp material.
