This elegant antique porcelain vanity or dresser set was likely made in Europe - either Czechoslovakia, Austria, or Germany. The shape, decoration, and finish suggest a transitional style somewhere between Art Nouveau and Art Deco. The pieces have a soft, shaded brown and cream finish with subtle light green wedge decoration.
Included are a pair of 6-1/2 inch candlesticks, a pair of cruet-style stoppered bottles for lotion or perfume, a covered trinket box, and a 12-1/2 by 9-1/2 inch scalloped tray. All pieces are in excellent condition with no damage. None are signed or marked, with one possible exception. The unglazed tray bottom has what may be a very smudged and worn stamped ink mark near the center. It looks like a castle or large building with a clock tower. It could just be the result of a century of table wear, but it's an odd shape and the rest of the tray bottom is relatively clean.
