A pair of 1960s Japan hand painted ceramic wall pocket planters with applied dimensional colorful parrots. They're round with pierced scalloped rims, about 7-1/2" diameter. They can be hung on the wall, or stand by themselves on a shelf or any flat surface.
The colorful parrots appear to be in flight, just about to perch on a cherry tree limb. The red paint is sponged onto the birds and cherries underglaze- it's not flaking or worn. The planters have their original foil labels on the back and have no damage. Price is for the pair.
