This vintage designer hat was made by the George Bollman company under their Mr K Originals label. It may have been made as an adult half or doll style hat (maybe a salesman sample?), but I think it looks ridiculous on my normal size adult head and works much better as a doll hat.

The hat is made of thick, stiffened apricot colored felted wool. The upturned brim is fully covered in silk and velvet flowers and leaves in shades of purple, pink, and white. At the back is a big multi-loop pink silk ribbon bow. Across the top is an apricot colored ostrich feather plume, and the rim edge is trimmed in lace and ecru rosette gimp braid.

The crown opening is about 3-3/4" diameter, height about 4-1/2 inches, and width across the ears is 7 inches. The doll model in the second photo has a head circumference of 14 inches. The hat is in excellent vintage condition with no damage or stains.
