This gorgeous, fine quality Mid Century gilded porcelain lamp depicts the Three Graces from classical Greco-Roman mythology. It was made by Marbro of Los Angeles, which was famous for high end Hollywood Regency lighting. They typically used fine Italian porcelain and brass for their lamps.

The lamp is 33 inches high to the top of the socket, with a 10-1/4" wide base. The socket takes an E39 base bulb, which is longer and wider than the typical Edison base household bulbs, or you can purchase an inexpensive socket converter to use regular light bulbs. There is no harp or shade - you'll want a glass torchiere bowl shade like the one shown as an example in the next to last picture (not included). Then if desired you can place a cloth shade over the glass shade.

The brass neck post and socket have some age patina. There is no damage to the porcelain or the base, and no wear to the gilded finish. It's about as perfect as a 60-something year old pre-owned lamp can be. It lights up fine and has a 7-plus foot gold vinyl cord with the original non-polarized plug. The lamp is quite heavy and oversize. Will ship carefully wrapped, thoroughly padded, double boxed, and insured for purchase price.
