This rare 6 inch antique chalkware match safe doubles as a dimensional wall plaque. Made in late 1800s Austria, it depicts a realistic Native American Indian in exquisite detail. The back is incised Austria. At the top, behind the feathered headdress, is an opening to hold match sticks. The top slants forward a bit to make the matches easy to reach. In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or other issues.
