This wonderful antique doll's hat is a miniature version of an adult 1930s hat. The base material is thick, soft, lavender-taupe millinery wool felt, with pale pink rim piping and beige silky braided gimp trim. The front brim turns up to hold a clutch of various pink and purple flowers with velvet and composition leaves. Across the top is a mauve ostrich feather with a poufy lavender-pink multi-loop bow at the back.

The hat measures 6 inches from front to back, 6-3/4" across the side, ear to ear. The inner crown opening is slightly oval, about 3-1/2 by 4 inches. The interior wool has some fading and discoloration as shown. There are no holes, tears, or stains There may have once been markings inside the crown. If so, they're worn or faded away.

NOTE: This may in fact be an adult toy-style hat. I just listed another hat with nearly identical styling and details that is marked Ritz Henry Pollak New York. I believe this hat was also made by Pollak and was therefore not intended as a doll hat, though it certainly will fit a doll.
