A stunning 9-3/4 inch semi-porcelain 1940s ballerina figurine from Florence Ceramics of Pasadena California. While the supposedly rare Florence child ballerinas are far more common, this larger, elegant adult dancer is a truly rare find as only a very limited number were produced. She features a beautifully hand-painted finish, an elegant Hollywood Regency pose, a meticulously detailed pink tiered slip-lace tutu, applied flowers at her waist and hair, and delicate 22-karat gold trim accents.

As is often the case with such highly fragile extended hands poses, she has one chipped index fingertip on the left hand, clearly visible in the photos and reflected in the price.
