This Edwardian era gilded bronze crumb tray was a souvenir of Washington DC. Bordering the landmarks and patriotic symbols are Arts and Crafts swags and ribbons. It was made in Japan for W.B. Garrison, a Washington souvenir distributor. The misspelled "copywright" mark has the actual number of Garrison's granted copyright, not the date. The other mark says Patent Applied For - records show the patent was granted in 1911.
The tray measures about 8 inches diameter and is quite heavy for its size. The finish is worn as shown but can be removed and cleaned to let the lovely coppery bronze coloring fully show. I sharpened the first photo a bit to better show the design detail.
