This cute Gingerbread style ceramic cookie jar is decorated with an assortment of cookies on all sides. It was made in 1960s Japan and is about 6 inches square by 9-1/2" high to the top of the lid. The original owner glued thin strips of white felt to the upper rim to prevent chipping (I wish I'd thought of that when my kids were little). There's a little fine, light crazing to the glaze but the jar is clean with no damage or scratches at all. The bottom is marked with a foil Made in Japan label and the stock number 330.
