This antique Imperial Rubigold carnival glass tumbler is in the Octagon pattern, originally called Bellaire in clear. The tumbler is 4 inches high by just under 3" diameter at the rim. It's in wonderful condition with strong, even, unfaded color and no damage or wear at all.

I can date production between 1920 and 1924. The Rubigold color was introduced in 1920, and by 1925 Imperial put a band or collar around the bottom rim for production reasons. This tumbler has the pattern going all the way to the bottom with no collar and is ground and polished at the outer edge.
