This vintage (pre-1969) Magnalite by Wagner Ware aluminum skillet is known as a chicken fryer. At 11-1/2" diameter not including the pour spouts and 3 inches deep, it's thick and heavy duty, especially suited for frying and searing.
The pan and lid are clean and shiny, though of course there are marks inside and out from use and storage, nothing significant. Those little pit marks in the bottom are caused by undissolved salt coming in contact with the hot skillet. They're common and not deep, mostly smooth to the touch. The pan has a slight rock, just enough to slide a credit card partially underneath the edge. If you have coiled or gas burners or plan to use it for deep frying, no problem, but you may notice it on a smooth glass cook top.
