This glass compote or candy dish is in the Windsor pattern by Jeannette. Windsor is a depression era pattern, but the company brought back some of their older molds to make decorative flashed glassware in the 1960s. I'm certain the compote is flashed, though it's almost impossible to tell - the bright watermelon pink color is intact with no flaking or scratches. The seemingly clear appearance where the base meets the stem is a trick of the light and angle of my photo - there is no color wear there. The dish is 5-1/2" high by 6-1/4" diameter and in excellent condition with no damage.
