I don't think this super retro Mid Century double chafing dish buffet food warmer has ever been used. The box was open when I got it, but the warming candles are still in their cellophane wrappers and the components were wrapped in their original plastic (open) bags.
The gold colored warmer is enameled steel with decorative brass handles and lid knobs. The two interior stainless food pans are 8-1/2" square (interior measurement) by 2 inches high. The warmer was apparently stored in a warm place for decades, causing the wax candles to partially melt. A bit of the wax leaked out onto the base holder - I removed most of it. There's a minor green waxy residue on one brass leg which should come off with hot water, some Dawn dishwasher liquid, and a soft toothbrush (that's how I cleaned the wax off the pan bottoms). There are no scratches, dents, or dings. Measurements: 20 by 10" handle to handle, about 6 inches high with lids in place. Made by Riviera of Japan, a company that specialized in stainless steel flatware.
