This wire wrapped, free-blown large glass windmill Christmas ornament is shown in George Johnson's Pictorial Guide to Christmas Ornaments book, but the book shows the wire mesh arms or blades attached in front of the Dutch woman instead of on top. The arms piece looks far better at the top instead of obscuring the center figure.

This terrific unsilvered figural German ornament is more than 6 inches long, painted flat white and green with a thin black stripe around the center of the upper bulb. Attached to the center post is a flat-back painted plastic figure of a Dutch water carrier woman. The only condition issue is that the wires have come loose but they're all there - they just need to be re-wrapped.
