A fancy 1950s cardboard Christmas putz village house or building decorated in an unusual manner. The front of the pink and white gabled roof building is open to show a diorama scene of a thin celluloid Santa Claus with reindeer and sleigh in front of a double glass mirror framed in tiny gold mercury glass beads.
Above the mirrors is a blue foil star, and off to one side is a chenille bottle brush tree arrangement with a little mercury glass candle and wired mercury glass bead ornaments. The floor and roof are dusted with silver glitter. Strings of gold mercury glass beads form a fence bordering the outside of the building.
The house is 4-3/4" wide by about 3 inches high. Some of the beads have darkened from loss of the inner silvering but they're all there and undamaged. Everything else is in very good vintage condition.
