This jam or jelly jar with fastand or attached underplate is in the hand tinted English Village transferware pattern by Nasco Japan. It's 5-1/4" high to the lid knob, the diameter of the underplate is 5-3/4". There is some crazing but no chips, flakes, or cracks.
The jar comes with a pre-1930s silverplate serving spoon, 6" long. I don't know the pattern name or even the maker - the word before "plate" on the back markings has been crosshatched out. The spoon is in good condition with no plate loss.
