An unused box of 14 pretty, feminine little greeting cards called Dainties, by National Printing Co. of Thompsonville Connecticut, dated 1949 on the backs. The 3-3/4" high cards have anniversary, congratulations, thank-you, new baby, birthday, and get well wishes, all with floral or romantic graphics. They all some some special feature, such as pop-ups or mechanicals, inserts or cutout windows, an attachment, or layered gold leaf trim.

The cards are in good, unused condition and all have envelopes, though the envelopes have some typical light yellowing from age. The box is intact with no splits or tears but there is some light soiling to the lid from storage and handling.
