This sweet 1955 Knickerbocker baby faced stuffed plush faux fur Santa Claus Christmas toy is the scarce musical model. He has a working Swiss music box movement inside which plays Jingle Bells when the key at his back is wound.

Baby Santa is about 10 inches long when laid out flat, not including his hat. He wears an attached Santa cap with jingle bell and a green fleece scarf wrapped around his neck. His head is a little floppy from age settling of the stuffing, but he's pretty easy to pose. The music box plays very well, but is not loud. He has typical cuddle wear for a 70-year old plush toy - the faux fur is no longer fluffy, there's some age yellowing of the white hands, feet, and hat cuff, but nothing that takes away from his charm. A cloth tag at his side reads "Knickerbocker Toy Co. New York USA, Baby Santa 1955 Made in USA". Truly adorable!
