This Mid Century West Germany Christmas angel tree topper figurine was made by Koestel. She comes in her original box and is 8 inches tall to the highest wing tip. The elegant angel has embossed gold metallic foil wings, wax hands and head, and a gold gimp braid halo. She holds a gold plastic mandolin. Her red velvet gown is trimmed with gold braids and gold over red embroidered jacquard ribbons.

Inside the cone dress are labels reading Handmade in West Germany and Koestel. The third picture shows the back view, or as much as I could get without removing the original gold elastic ties that secure the angel to the box. The box lid has some creases as shown but is intact.
