This vintage Revere Ware copper clad stainless steel covered pot was called a covered sauce pot in their 1950s literature, though it's often referred to as a stockpot or Dutch oven. It holds six quarts and measures 9-1/4 inches diameter by 5-5/8" deep. The pot sits flat and is clean and polished. There are some fine, light marks from stirring and cleaning, and a very shallow, short crease ding the bottom edge. The mark on the copper bottom is hard to read due to burner wear, but the pot was made in the Clinton Illinois plant between 1975 and 1978 (production dates were left off the Revere Ware 1801 mark in that time period).
