This adorable late 1940s to early 1950s Lefton angel figurine appears to be leaning in for a kiss. Her face and hands have a bisque finish, everything else is glazed. She has a short pixie style haircut below the raised gold ring halo, her eyes closed, and her lips slightly puckered. Somewhat oddly, her red gown is decorated with raised spotted geese or ducks (I once had another angel like this but her gown was plain blue and white). The underside is well marked with the 1950s red foil Lefton's Exclusives Japan label, crown Reg. US Pat. Off mark, George Lefton signature, and the stock number KW002R. The 4-1/2 inch angel is in excellent condition with no damage or paint loss.
