This sweet 1950s January angel figurine was made by Fine A Quality of Japan. The angels of the month were typically given to girls and young women on their birthday, or collected as a full set.

About 4-1/2 inches high, the angel has short curly platinum blonde hair below her gold ring halo. Her face is expertly hand painted with long-lashed blue eyes and open O red mouth. She wears a peach with orange trim ruffled long dress with spaghetti trim at the hem. She holds a gold horn in one hand, a set of gold hand bells in the other to ring in the new year. Foil label is intact on the underside. In excellent condition with no damage, scratches, or gold loss.
