This is a great old 1950s or earlier single ceramic salt or pepper shaker. It's a 2-3/4 inch high expressive cowboy with a cigarette dangling from his mouth, wearing a cowboy hat and red neckerchief. Unsigned but undoubtedly made in Japan. Some flaking to the red cold painted bandana that looks worse in the pictures than it really is due to white glare or reflection spots. No chips or crazing, cork stopper is present.
