This Pfaltzgraff covered soup tureen with ladle is in the Yorktowne dinnerware pattern, decorated with Pennsylvania Dutch blue stylized flowers on creamy gray stoneware pottery. Yorktowne was introduced in 1967 and is still in production, though it hasn't been made in the USA for the past 20 years.
The tureen is 9-1/2 inches wide across the tab handles by 6 inches to the rim and comfortably holds 3 quarts. It's in excellent condition with no damage or crazing, as are the lid and 3/4 cup ladle. My last picture is blurry - it shows the original Pfaltzgraff USA castle mark on the underside with the stock number 160Y.
