This elegant and graceful feather handled, footed shell planter dish was made by McCoy Pottery around 1941. It has a semi-matte ivory glaze and is a little over 6 inches high to the top of the handle by 8 inches across. It's in excellent condition with no damage and doesn't appear to have ever held soil or water. The little pin hole in the rim near the handle (second picture) was put there during manufacture to allow air to escape during firing.
