This 1950s Sydco Deluxe Wonderfry electric kitchen appliance is a combination deep fryer and slow cooker. It has a 6 quart capacity, copper plated finish, aluminum basket, and Fire King glass lid. Based on the excellent, clean and shiny condition, it was maybe used once, then put away complete in the original box never to be seen for 60 years.
The fryer basket interior has some utensil scratches and spotty shine loss indicating use, but the pot interior is spotless with no damage or stains at all. The copper paneled exterior has some tiny, minor use marks and a little scuff to the black paint on the lower back (I'm betting that came from contact with the plug prongs when it was put back in the box). The combination use manual and recipe booklet is present and intact, but it shows signs of use to the center pages (light discoloration or spatter). The original cellophane wrapper was found inside the box, torn in half. The cooker works, heating up quickly.
