A pretty Art Deco style bar pin or brooch in sterling silver with a faceted oval amethyst colored center stone (not sure if it's real amethyst). The elongated wings on either side are studded with glittering marcasites. The brooch measures 2-1/2 inches long. The back pin has a small bend or hump which I did not attempt to straighten. Marked 925 with a stylized letter A.
