Pair 1950s Japan figural ceramic salt and pepper shakers in the shape of windmills with well defined molding including surrounding trees, stone bases, and arched door entries. They're about 2-3/4 inches high and in excellent condition with light glaze crazing, no damage. Both have well fitting stoppers but they don't match, one is rubber, the other cork.
Included is a little creamer or syrup pitcher, about the same size and similar coloring as the shakers. It's not an exact match to the shakers but goes well with them - all were displayed together in the kitchen of an Idaho estate. The creamer is not marked.
