A set of five miniature mica-encrusted cardboard Christmas putz village scene buildings in their original 1950s Japan "Christmas Villages" box. They're 2 inches wide and have wire loops on the roofs to hang on the Christmas tree as ornaments if desired. The four houses and steepled church are made of cardboard with thickly applied mica and crushed glass glitter. The rooftops and windows are brightly painted and have a stained glass effect. One house has a tree in front, two have dimensional balconies. There is some shedding to the mica glitter as shown. Each ornament has a paper Japan label on the underside. The box has splits at the window opening and is missing the cellophane window.
