I'm not sure if these adorable pixie elf figures were meant to be ashtrays, trinket dishes, or just figurines. They were made in 1950s Japan for Decor of Saint Paul Minnesota according the foil labels. They're about 5 inches diameter and 3-1/2 inches high.
The pixies wear light green Peter Pan style suits with Jack in the Beanstalk leaf hats. Their pointy ears are outlined in dark red to match their smiling, partially open lips. Each sits on his dark green lily pad in a different pose - one with hands clasped below his raised knees, one cross legged with hands on knees, and hone with one knee propped on the other, feet and hands extended.
The dish in picture number 4 has a small glaze nick to the right edge of the lily pad, shown in closeup in the last photo. The dish in the fifth photo has a light scratch to the green leaf along one of the veins. White spots in the photos are from reflections and glare - there is no finish or paint loss other than mentioned above. Price is for the set of three.
