A set of five vintage copper cookware skillets in graduated sizes, all with copper lids. The largest is 9-1/2 inches diameter by 2 inches deep, the smallest is 6-1/2" diameter by 1-1/2" deep. The ribbed handles are cast brass. Each lid has a brass handle at the top center. The bottoms of the pans are lightly hammered, the sides are smooth.
I'm not sure how old the skillets are but they're not modern and they're almost certainly imported. They have a shiny silver colored lining, but I don't know if the lining is food safe according to today's standards. The silvery interior finish is spotty, making me wonder if it's tin based. I was able to clean up a couple of the pans pretty well as shown in the last picture by scrubbing with powdered cleanser. The copper is bright and shiny though I didn't do any detail polishing. The copper is somewhat soft, resulting in edge bumps to a couple of the lids. A great set to display in your vintage copper kitchen.
