This primitive antique copper ebelskiver or aebleskiver pan has 3 legs and was made for cooking over an open fire. A single heart shape depression in the center is surrounded by six round depressions openings for the cakes or dumplings. The pan is about 11-3/4 inches diameter by 3-1/2 inches high. The thick poured tin lining has a piece missing near the rim over a repair to one leg, and there is a nickle size dent to the exterior of one round depression. Smaller old dents and dings abound as shown, all typical of an authentically old European cooking pan.
