A large and dramatic hand made folk art exotic bird picture, made in Mexico for the tourist trade in the 1930s through 1940s. It's the largest one I've ever seen at 31 inches long by 14 inches wide. The picture is made with colorful real bird feathers, accented with hand painted foliage and a rocky perch. The background is matte black paper mounted on sturdy cardboard. The hand carved wood frame is original and the original glass is present. The lines and shadows in the photos are reflections of the blinds and other items in the room. There is a foil sticker label on the back which reads "House of Oppenheim, Select Gifts, C. Juarez Mexico". I see no issues or damage.
