This Arts and Crafts era copper vase is a corset or hourglass shape, narrow at the center, flared at the top and bottom. It measures 9 inches high by nearly 6 inches diameter at the rim. Each of the three sections is finished differently. The top section is hammered copper with a shiny applied dark patina. The narrow center copper band has a horizontal row of beads or spikes. The lower section appears to be brass with a slightly stippled hammered texture and dull finish. The vase is old and has been used, consequently there are some scuffs and minor marks as well as verdigris and water sediment inside. The bottom shows evidence that the vase may leak, but I didn't fill it with water. There's a very small ding to the bottom edge, about 1 o'clock in the last photo. I will leave it to the buyer to decide whether to clean or polish.
