These 1950s Relco ceramic spaghetti angel Christmas candle holders are somewhat similar to the Ermine Angels by Holt Howard, but their dresses are red instead of white. They are posted similarly to the Ermine angels, each holding a pair of bells, and the candle holders are at the backs of the figurines. Their coats, hoods, and the muff are trimmed with gold sponged spaghetti fur. They have no chips or damage, but this type of Made in Japan dimestore figurine was mass produced to sell cheaply and has paint flaws where the red bleeds into the white areas as shown. The many white spots in the photos are from glare and reflections. The angels are 4-1/4 inches high, one still has the original foil Relco Creations Japan label. A pair of wrapped, unused red candles is included.
