A 1941 three-piece child's pottery dinnerware feeding set plus extras featuring the original Raggedy Ann and Andy ragdoll characters created by Johnny Gruelle from the early 1940s, produced by Crooksville China. The shallow rimmed deep plate is 9 inches; diameter by 1-1/4" deep, the cereal bowl is 5-1/4" diameter by just over 2" deep, and the cup or mug is 3-1/4" high by 3 inches diameter. I'm including a second mug with heavy stained crazing and a National Silver silverplated baby spoon and fork set.
The plate and silverware are in good condition, the other pieces have considerable crazing and staining, though none have any cracks or chips. The bowl isn't marked. The mugs and plate are marked in gold script "Raggedy Ann and Andy Ware by Crooksville, Copyright 1941 Johnny Gruelle Co.". Price reflects condition of the bowl and mugs.
