This 1920s or earlier baby feeding dish is pottery in a chrome plated metal holder with handles and a stoppered spout for holding hot water. The illustration in the bottom is painted, not a decal - it depicts a sweet sleeping blanket-wrapped baby nestled in a crescent moon with stars in the blue background. The dish is 6 inches diameter by 2-1/2" deep, 8 inches wide across the handles.
There is some crazing to the heavy china bowl but no chips, flakes, or cracks. The metal holder does have a thin crack at the rim however, near the spout. The bottom is marked G.W. Co. in a triangle.
