Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass Seventh Edition by Gene Florence, Copyright 1986, published by Collector Books. 8-3/4" by 11-1/4", 211 pages.
Though the prices in this classic Depression Glass identification and value book are of course out of date, I like the way the photos are arranged, showing as many pieces and colors available in each pattern as possible. The glass patterns are arranged alphabetically, with each section giving the maker, dates of production, and any alternate pattern names. Known pieces and colors are given and the author has notes on rarity factors, and tips for determining lookalikes and go-withs. The book has an excellent section on reproductions of Depression glass with clear photos and specifics on how to spot them.
