This American Made boxed Raggedy Ann & Andy child's 4-piece place setting by Oneida was a Storybook Dinnerware Premium offered by General Mills / Betty Crocker Coupons in the early 1970s. The box says it's an Oneidaware For Young Folks Youth Set, number 5874. Included are an 8-1/4 inch plate, 6-1/2" soup or cereal bowl, a 4-3/4" fruit bowl, and a 3 inch tall mug. Each piece has a different scene of Ann and Andy at play and each is mint and unused, packed in the original shipping box.
The Melamine dishes were made by Oneida-Ware. They're dated 1969 and marked The Bobbs-Merrill Company Inc. The dishes are mint and unused, packed in the original box with original packing papers. Although mint and unused, the colors of the cup appear a little faded, this is just from age (almost every cup I've seen from this set has the same color fading problem). The box is in good condition and the set is suitable for gift giving.
