This iconic round West Bend chrome plated Hot and Cold Server from West Bend is from the 1940s. It's 8-1/4" high to the knob lid finial by 10-1/4" wide across the handles. The insulated stainless steel interior holds 2 quarts. Eight embossed penguins encircle the exterior below the rim. The finial and wing shape handles are mottled brown Bakelite.
Often used as a barware ice bucket, it's also ideal for potlucks, picnics, and family reunions as it also keeps hot foods hot and cold foods chilled. The server is in excellent vintage condition, clean and shiny with no scratches, dents, dings, or pitting.
